Frequently asked questions
My data doesn’t show up on my other device
Make sure you’re signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on both devices and iCloud Drive is turned on. Open madaDo on both devices and wait a moment – syncing runs in the background. With a poor connection it can take a little while.
How do I share a list with others?
Open the list or project and tap the person icon at the top (“Share List”). Choose how to send the invitation. The people you invite need an Apple device with madaDo and must be signed in to iCloud.
Dictation doesn’t work
Allow madaDo to use the microphone and speech recognition in Settings → madaDo (on the Mac: System Settings → Privacy & Security). Tip: press and hold the big plus to start dictating right away.
Why doesn’t madaDo recognize events automatically for me?
Automatic recognition of events, people and lists uses Apple Intelligence and is only available on supported devices. Without Apple Intelligence, just pick “Event”, “Note” or “Question” at the top of the New window.
How do I add favorites?
On iPhone, tap the star on a list or project. On iPad and Mac, long-press (or right-click) the list in the sidebar and choose “Add to Favorites”.
How do I get the widget?
Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen, tap “Edit” → “Add Widget” and search for madaDo. There’s “Today” (also for the Lock Screen) and “List”.
How do I delete all my data?
Delete individual lists in the app. To remove all data stored in iCloud, go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → madaDo.
How do I remove the sample?
Tap “Remove Sample” in the sidebar or on the overview – or in Settings. Your own entries stay.
